The vintage charm of the grand architecture truly stole the show, with stunning 18th-century paintings that made the original building feel like stepping back in time. There’s a lovely balcony view of Mount Vesuvius that adds a special touch to the experience.
Despite the eye-catching design, many areas need attention, with noticeable wear in the frescoes and scuffed wall paint that detracts from the experience. The breakfast selection felt limited, and certain amenities, like the outdoor seating area, had muddy grass that made using it less enjoyable. the occasional late-night fireworks from events can be disruptive without prior notice.

Staying at this beautiful villa was a lovely experience. The large room with elegant decor made me feel like I was in another time, and the high ceilings really added an air of grandeur. I particularly enjoyed the proximity to Herculaneum, just a short walk away, which was perfect for my sightseeing plans. The breakfast selection was enjoyable, especially the great service that came with it. the shower was a bit on the smaller side and took its time to drain. Despite some areas needing updates, the overall ambiance made it worthwhile.

beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
I was truly enchanted by the property's stunning gardens, which made for an idyllic backdrop during my stay. The spacious Junior Suite had an enormous terrace, giving us a relaxing spot to enjoy the manicured landscapes. Dining at the in-house restaurant was a highlight, as the authentic Italian cuisine exemplified slow food principles, allowing for an unforgettable culinary experience.

A peaceful retreat with caveats
The serene gardens were a delightful oasis, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring ancient ruins. The staff's attentiveness made every interaction pleasant, resembling a family-run hotel vibe.
Although the hotel environment was beautiful, the surrounding area felt quite run down, lacking a vibrant atmosphere. Our room's thin walls meant we were occasionally disturbed by neighbors.

Beautiful setting with minor drawbacks
I enjoyed my stay in this stunning hotel with impressive high ceilings and elegant decor in the room, which truly felt regal. The grounds were a gem, featuring lovely gardens perfect for a relaxing stroll, and the pool area was a very nice retreat after visiting the nearby ruins of Herculaneum. I felt the breakfast selection could be a bit more varied to enhance the start of each day.

the location is really good, just a 10 min walk to the ercolano ruins and the train station. our junior suite was huge and comfy, and we loved that our room was away from the noisy road. the restaurant was super handy for dinners and the food was actually good!
but the service was reaaaaally slow and it felt a bit run down outside, kinda lacking energy.

The historic villa offers lovely gardens and a pleasant environment for relaxation, complemented by friendly staff and excellent dining options, including seasonal salads. the room in the annex felt dated with worn furnishings, and the bathroom was small with drainage issues. Though the breakfast selection was basic, it was sufficient for a quick start to the day. The soundproofing was not adequate. noise from adjacent rooms could be heard during my stay.
